This is a conversion kit to make a Takedown 10/22 out of your fixed barrel Ruger 10/22. This kit will not work on a Factory Ruger 10/22 Takedown model rifle.
The heart of this system is our custom match grade 16" barrel that not only is ¾ lb lighter than factory, but considerably more accurate. Threaded 1/2-28. The barrel works hand-in-hand with our quick release, return to zero adaptor. This system is engineered so no tools are needed to remove or re-install the barrel in just seconds, and with a front iront sight installed it will remain sighted in to a receiver mounted optic.
We have many options you can add above.
The stock is a push button latch, right side folding assembly. Constructed from injection molded glass filled Nylon, it's very strong while being super lightweight. With the barrel removed, the folded stock/receiver assembly is very compact at under 11" long. Everything can easily fit into any backpack, duffel bag, small RV cabinet, boat, bush plane, daypack, kayak, under a seat, in a spare tire well, etc. The possibilities are endless.
Standard parts before options include:
16" stainless threaded barrel
Quick release barrel takedown adapter
Knurled nut instead of handguard
PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS BEFORE ORDERING A 7.25" BARREL!!!

One of the best purchased I have made in a long time. I only wish this were made in other calibers.

I ordered this kit with a folding stock and 6 inch aluminum hand guard a while ago, and it is of excellent quality. It is much nicer than the Ruger 10/22 takedown rifle, extra money is worth it to get this instead. The only complaint that I have is that the stock should fold the other way, but I can live with it.
