AGP Arms has entered the Pistol Brace world with their side folding kit for the Charger™ 22 Takedown. The kit begins with the familiar AGP Arms pistol grip Gen 2 stock and handguard teamed up with a new billet folding adapter. This 6061 billet adapter incorporates a mount for the Takedown barrel and threaded for the AR style pistol tube 1-3/16-16 threads. The adapter is a push button latch and folds to the right side. AGP's rear tube is designed to fit 1" or less diameter suppressors inside of it.
The Brace Kit comes standard with the pistol grip Gen 2 stock, handguard with 2 Picatinny rail attachments, and the billet aluminum folding adapter.
Optional Rear Tube: AGP's tube is inexpensive and it's concentric. 1.250" OD x 6.50" Long and will fit your 1" suppressor. Many of the AR pistol tubes will not.
Select all the options from us, it will save you a headache shopping around, and frankly this is a really nice piece. Option it out with some really nice components. This is truly the most compact .22 LR setup that fits in any small bag or tactical gear.
Handguard Size Option: The options include standard tapered barrel that comes on most 22 Charger Takedowns, or for the new Charger LITE with the .920 OD barrel.
Add Suppressor Plug: This is the 1/2-28 plug that holds your suppressor and allows it to slide into the rear tube area made from billet 6061 and anodized black. When using a concentric rear tube, this allows you to fit any 1.00" or less suppressor. Keep all your components all wrapped up nicely in our package.

The following list of suppressors fit in our tube setup. We are certain there are more that will fit, please let us know if you have confirmation of another suppressor that fits. Our tubes measure 1.00” so anything smaller than that dimension will fit. Likewise, anything larger than 1.00” will NOT fit. Suppressors measuring 1.06” or larger do NOT fit.

Love the brace kit, folds down to a very compact size. Sturdy lock up when the brace is extended. My only wish would be a larger internal diameter of the brace tube to allow for a dead air mask suppressor.

Needs more
For $400, there are some short comings. Needs QD in the back somewhere. The receiver screw can't be tightened down all the way or it binds the barrel. Folding brace latch and brace tail latch should have a smother ramp so you can close them without having to press the latch again. some molding edges needed taken down. grip needs some type of tape or grip padding. easy install. looks great, fit is good, feels ok.

Great but needs some improvements
Awesome product but with rough edges. When I gripped the handle it was digging into the top of my hand, so first thing I did was smooth out the edges to make it comfortable. Probably took close to a 1/4” of material off each side where it makes contact. Also smoother out a lot of the edges on the aluminum peace that connects to the buffer tube. This is a good brace kit, but they really should smooth out the sharp edges to make it great

Ruger 22 Charger brace
I wanted a foldable brace but I have a laminated stock. The AGP stock did not require a modification. The AGP stock fit with no problems and installs in about 10 minutes.
