This really is an amazing platform for a charger build. Finish is amazing, very solid, yet lightweight.
Would be 5 stars, but I had to file down the locking tab to get the folding brace to lock in place. Not a big deal, 2 min of work. It's worth the extra money to get the tube, suppressor plug, etc. Very excited to finish this when I can find a 10" barrel...

I would have given it a 5 star rating if the brace would have locked in place once it’s broken down, the way it is it is unsecured. It’s really a simple fix, once I modify mine I will send photos.

I absolutely love this setup! In my opinion, this is the best option on the market for the Charger Takedown. if I had to have a negative comment I wish the grip was interchangeable. I would definitely recommend this product.

I had to back order my braced chassis. I was amazed when I received the email telling me it was in the mail a week later. I love this gun I’ve had several people ask me about it at the range and I’m always willing to share. My only complaint is the stiffness of the button to open the tail hook. I’m sure it will loosen up with use.
Unfortunately I’ll never know though since I recently accidentally dropped it in the lake on a fishing trip with Colion Noir.

Very happy with my purchase of the Ruger Charger Takedown folding stock in black w SB mini brace. Shipping was prompt during this busy period. Item is built very well and has a quality feel, fitment was precise and tight. Fore-end is very stout. My Charger sat for years unfired, having no clear purpose. After installing this stock, I have it out 3x a day to handle and look at it.

They fail to specify that when making your order if you choose the regular buffer tube that the brace wont be able to be locked in place when its fully collapsed and that if you did plan on making it so you could you would need to do major modifications if i had known id saved my money and purchased the charger lite cause then i could at least chose and changed the pistol grips and put the brace of my choosing on but with that being said i do like the stye its sucks i have to modify to fit.... buy 8.xx" tube to have it work out the box but i wanted mine as compact as possible i have little arms

Worth the money, well made. Fits like a glove. Suppressor plug is a great idea and works great. I have a SigSauer SRD22X which isn't on their list, but fits perfectly. Personally would prefer an all metal construction latch for the folding stock as it would be an area of concern after repeated use, especially if you "fling" it into the locked position which I personally don't intend to do or press my luck with. But if reasonable care is taken I feel I'll get many "years" of enjoyment and service out of this stock. Thanks AGP ARMS team.

Everything transferred into the new brace easily. Everything nmioce and tight but didnt require a hammer and chisel to fit ,no modifications at all. So far it is a superior brace that makes my charger one of the best guns i own.
Thanks

This fit my Charger perfectly. The storage for my Outback suppressor slid in a held no problem. This truly is a work of art and I'm very pleased. I wish I didn't have to wait two months, but it was well worth it. Thanks AGP

Fantastic brace setup for the charger takedown. Fits in the saddle bag of my motorcycle perfectly for camping and long road trips

Really awesome upgrade and fun for the ruger charger 10/22 take down. I have the normal tapered barrel and this kit works fine for stowage when placing barrel with folding adapter and tail hook mod. I had a few questions about the product after it was purchased and AGP responded extremely fast with clarification. I shot it at the range and I’m sure a few other people will be buying this upgrade now. Thanks again AGP!!!

the agp arms folding brace kit for the 22 charger is awesome! It truly exceeded my expectations in quality and design. Buy this brace kit! You won't be disappointed. Oh and agp's customer service was excellent. I reached out to them with questions about when I could expect the brace and immediately received a response.

Love this folding brace! Good quality product. I bought the Ruger 22 Charger Takedown with the sole intent of purchasing the brace to go with it. With COVID19 delivery took a lot longer than expected, but the company was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and accommodated for my concerns. This brace turned my Ruger into a compact mini rifle that I use for fun target practice and my wife loves it too!

Installation was incredibly easy, and fit and finish of this product is fantastic. Note that tolerances are extremely snug, so the button to release the folding stock will be very hard to press at first, but it'll break in once you work it for a bit. Same goes for the suppressor plug and brace tube. At first my 1" suppressor wouldn't go in all the way and was binding about 4-5" in, but after working if a little it went in and now it's no problem at all. Added a Primary Arms ACSS 22LR and Aero Precision extended mount and I'm off to the races.

Awesome high quality machining and fitment. This completely transforms the charger into what it was always meant to be. I spoke to Bill on the phone and he was very helpful and informative. Despite material and tool shortages AGP was still able to deliver a high quality product with great service. Thanks guys!

I loved the idea of a minimalist package for a 10/22, and I came across the AGP Arms offering while researching 10/22 ammo and watching some of 22 Plinksters Youtube videos. I ordered one of the AGP Arms Modular Brace Kits a while back, and eagerly anticipated it for some time.
When it finally came in, I was pretty disappointed with the fit and finish. AGP Arms products seem to be gaining in popularity quite rapidly (kudos to them), but perhaps they are experiencing some issues ramping up their production. On a positive note, I did appreciate that the brace kit felt solid; it wasn't rubbery in texture or density as I had somewhat anticipated. Also, the folding mechanism/barrel receptacle was aluminium(?) and not polymer.
Beyond that, I don't have too many positive things to say. First off, a lot of the finish on the brace kit seems rough. There are places where the two halves don't line up perfectly, loose bits of thin polymer hang off here and there as you might expect from a cheap Chinese-made toy, and there are needlessly sharp edges all over the place.
In terms of fit, the production tolerances seem to be too lax. I basically had to apply a bending-type force to the brace kit/folding mechanism in order to get it too lock into place. I had the same issue going the other way - I basically had to bend the chassis/brace before even attempting to depress the button to unlock the folding mechanism.
I was excited by the prospect of packing down my 10/22 and storing it away in a small package, and I opted for the storage plug to pair with the concentric storage/pistol buffer tube. I have a Gemtech Suppressor that fits (or should fit) in the tube for storage. I gave it a go and started to slide the suppressor into the tube. The first half went in fine, but I could hear/feel the scraping as the front of the suppressor started to reach the back of the tube - the back portion of the tube was either non-concentric or simply not properly machined/smoothed. Now my suppressor, which costs more than this brace kit, is scratched to $*%$#(.
I really wanted to like this brace kit, but I'm already noticing and experiencing all sorts of issues with the fit and finish, and I haven't even tried to put it on my 10/22 yet.

Who doesn’t want a side folding brace or stock on anything physically possible?!? If you’re anything like me of course you do. For the price, the high quality (cannot overstate the quality...) and just over all awesomeness. Got guns? You need AGP Arms.

The product was as promised but my only complaint is that the plastic is very sharp edges, I'm guessing due to the molding.

I was super impressed with the level of customer service offered to me by AGP Arms. My order took a little while and Ben got back to me immediately, explaining what was going on--top marks for communication.
When I got the new chassis for my Charger, it fit perfectly and works really well. Nicely modified! I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of upgrading their standard Charger set up.

Awesome product! Tight tolerances. Product exceeded expectations!
Suggestion: include picatinny rail under hand guard for mounting angled grip.

Overall, I like the setup, but fitting was required. It was not drop-in. I had to file and sand a good bit before the receiver would go into the stock. It was difficult to tell where the receiver was hitting, but mine was mostly hitting in the front. Recommend advising people that some fitting might be required so they aren't surprised if they need to.

Ok, got the New Stock in Friday and assembled, it went together in a snap. Got other accessories and installed them too. Went to the range Sunday with my friends, lucky to get our lanes together. Plopped my back pack down in my lane and started to pull out the mags one drum and three sticks. Pulled out my Charger with the New Stock somebody said, Hey look at this! To make a long story short, the next time I touched my Charger with the New Stock. The scope was sighted in and the all the mags were empty, yes I call them friends. When it was my turn, after I loaded the mags again. This is the best after market stock I have ever bought, I couldn’t be happier. The young lady I emailed at the company made everything happen, couldn’t have asked for better service. Need more accessories, need to trick this thing out. Highly recommend this company, service and product were good to see and made me feel important.

After receiving my stock from agp arms, I started to try and put it together. I noticed immediately that my .22 charger receiver didn’t fit into the opening as it should. I had to remove a small amount of material on both sides of the stock where the takedown nut and lockup are. After I removed the extra material the receiver fit nice and tight as well as the barrel fit tight into the forearm. The only other thing I think could use some work is the pistol grip needs to be a little thicker so it fits in the hand a bit better. These are my only complaints, otherwise it seems to be very well built and I look forward to testing it on the range.

This thing is awesome! It’s well made and very compact. Add the Gearhead Works Mod 2 Brace and you’re all set! AGP knocked this one out of the park!
