Here is the AGP push button side folding stock for use on the SIG 556. If your model has the AR style threaded buffer end of the receiver, this kit will fit. The stock features a removable end cap that allows for storage in the tube section. You are able to store your proper paperwork, cleaning kit, batteries, etc in this section.
The kit comes complete with the stock and hinge and all the billet adapters to mate with your lower receiver, anti-rotation plug.
Optional 1/2" or 1" butt pad.
Length of Pull:
No Buttpad - 11.75"
1/2" Buttpad - 12.25"
1" Buttpad - 12.75"
Will not fit the newer 'Classic' model that had the hinge built into the receiver. If your 556 has a factory folding stock, this product will not work.

Very solid. Close to original.
Stock is well made, install takes 5 minutes. Feels close to the 552 european folder in length and overall shouldering. Locks firmly in place. No walk or talk at all. Solid! Definately get it with a larger pad. These rifles all have a tight shouldering as is, but it is still a bit short for my stance. Adding a veritcal grip to the handguard does help for anyone experiencing this. The stock folded does not go far enough to lock up on the handguard "nub" on operators right side. I think the proprietary sig ones do, but it is not a dealbrwaker for me. At this price 5 stars. Fast processing and shipping. Would reccomend.

I’m my excitement to install the stock, I didn’t have the threaded plug and stock properly aligned and managed to cross thread one of the mounting screws. The solution was to simply flip the plug over… and make sure everything is aligned!!!

Great stock at a great price?
This stock works great, easy to install, and locks up rock solid. Being the tinkerer that I am, I had to do some minor mods… The locking mechanism was a little sticky. The latch part is aluminum and the bolt that fits into it is polymer. I removed any burrs and polished up the contacting surfaces. To put the stock into the fixed position, I couldn’t just swing the stock into position. I needed to press the release button to get it to lock in place. My solution was to slightly round off the leading edge of the polymer bolt. Now it locks open easily!

AGP Arms SIG556 Folding Stock
The AGP Arms SIG556 Folding Stock is the perfect replacement for the M4 telescoping stock that comes with the 1st generation Sig 556 without breaking the bank. After seeing comparable stocks for more than twice as much and usually out of stock, and seeing that AGP is here in Arizona, this was a win-win-win! Installation was easy and it works great. Good, snug fit and operation. Highly recommended!

Excellent stock that fits well
I set aside an hour to get this installed on my P556 but ended up only needing 5 minutes. This is an excellent alternative to having to buy a $1,000 lower. The stock does not latch folded, but the latch mechanism works great when folding and unfolding. The stock kind of stays folded by friction. I use mine without any spaces but did buy the longest spacer available with the stock. One down side is that when I tried to put the spacer on the stock the coarse screws included stripped out the screw holes in my stock and I do not see the stock being offered by itself. No biggie, probably my fault for doing something wrong, I'm glad I like it without the spacers.

SIG 556 Butt Stock
Love the new folding butt stock for my SIG 556. It looks much better than the AR style stock that it came with. Feels very sturdy and the folding mechanism is nice and tight, no wobble.
