There is a reason why I have run only the APG mags through my many Saiga 12s and now the Panther's AK12. They are totally reliable. I never had an issue with the magazine, even after hundreds of rounds through them. With the positives said, you will need to put a little CLP in the magazine so they don't get bound up from the carbon and other derbies, and sand in them will cause them to have issues.

Well built but required a significant amount of fitting to fit the mag well. The rear locking lug needed a lot of thinning to go past the locking lever. I have numerous other mags including factory original, AGP, ProMag that all work perfectly

This is my 1st Saiga 12 shotgun and I had heard that I would need to reprofile and polish the bottom of the bolt of I wanted to load full mags on a closed bolt. That's not true, AGP intentionally leaves about .35" extra space in the full mag so that right they rock right in once you practice getting the initial insertion angle right. I was able to leave my bolt untouched with all it's full factory strength and mass and I'm quite happy about that. I can even load 3" shells on a closed bolt with 10 in the mag.

The best option on the market.

Took this 10rd Saiga magazine to the range. It fit and functioned flawlessly in my Lynx12. Will definitely grab another one

So first, i havent took them to the range yet. So if that disqualifies my opinion to you then thats ok. I didnt want to post a reveiw until i went but agp sent me a email asking.
The first impression:
They look really nice like the 10 round which works great. The 8 round is the size of a 30 round ak mag, so i need them for my vest. Amd they fot n look great. I loaded em up and worked shells through, was fine. Im fairly pleased with them.
What i dont care for and need to fix:
The spring seems too long, and i can only put 7 in my 8 round magazines. I took them apart and cleaned them even tho they was pretty clean anyway, i just like taking things apart. And the spring was long than the 10 round spring was, I took it apart too for comparison (no provacation to do so at first). Also they are gen 2 mags, not gen3 and i love the gen 3 base plate on my 10 round magzine vs the bigger and stiffer gen 2 one. Also the body is slightly different but not worth complaining over. I suppose i need to cut the springs down, then theyll be 5 star worthy assuming they preform flawlessly out of the box like the 10 did

Hands down the best Saiga 12 mag on the market for the price. I've had other mag that broke right I started using them but not AGP.They simply work.

It's not just a quality mag, but it looks damn good...definitely gonna order the 10rnd.

Bought 10 of the 10 round capacity magazines to supplement those that I already have. Found that 4 of 10 would not snap into place at the rear of my Saiga 12, even with a hard hit. Had to file down the small land at the top rear of the 3 long lands so the magazine went further into the weapon at the rear. Problem solved.
These are far superior to other manufacturers products that do not have the metal holder at the top rear.

I could tell immediately this product is well made. Sturdy and runs smoother than my old pro-mag.. Best magazines on the market. The 10rd mag makes my Saiga 12 look like a beast, and performs flawless. AGP is a top notch seller.

High quality magazines , perfect fit , smooth loading and feeding. Shipping was fast and packaged very well. Thanks for a quality product

I've owned numerous different saiga 12 mags, and by far the agp 10 rounder is the best on the market. Never had a jam whatsoever. If you also polish your bolt, and with a little muscle memory practice, you can easily load these mags with the bolt closed.

The 4 Saiga 10 Rd. magazines I just received worked perfectly right out of the box. I just ordered 4 more
Posted by Bill on 13th Mar 2014
The 5 10 round mags that I ordered fit into the Saiga 12 with no modifaction, you just have to give them a good slap when u insert them to make sure they lock in place, the mags also have some of the best springs ive ever worked with, no fighting to get that last shell in at all

Fits nice in my Tromix converted saiga and works great.
Posted by Don on 19th Jun 2013
These mags work well and I haven't had any misfeeds. They fit the Saiga perfectly with no modification necessary.
Will buy more once the idiotic laws in NJ are finalized.

I love AGP saiga 12 mags.I own 15 of these mags and they all worked flawlessly. If you use the right ammo and have the gas setting right, they are the most reliable mags on the market. And I've tryed them all.

These magazines are great. I had a Promag and it was a piece of crap!!!! I've gotten my 3rd AGP Arms mags and they have ALL worked great! I'm only ordering AGP Arms mags from this point on:).

I am not only satisfied with the saiga magazines I purchased but the service. I am a retired peace officer and it is encouraging to know that there are a few companies out there that still invest their time in providing quality service. Therefore, I plan to encourage fellow co-workers to visit AGP's web page. Thank you AGP for your stellar client service.

I am very pleased with product, it was back ordered, but worth the wait. Stay strong and keep fighting to keep our guns.

I own a number of Saiga 12's. They are all dimensionally different.
Every AGP GEN2 and GEN3 I own fit, lock, and feed perfectly in all my Saiga 12's without modification.
I can not say the same for any of the other mags I own from other manufactures.
I will never again buy another brand Saiga 12 magazine, Ever.

Hard to find item. Put in your order and be patient.

Easy to load, light weight, rugged (uses the same gage metal, bolt-to-shell stripper tabs similar to the Russian factory's design), and has a steady well guided "no-rock" smooth motion shell magazine follower. The magazine has the ability to be disassemble by using 9 screws to assemble both halves for repairs or cleaning. The magazine has a push-in center pin release, fully guided floor plate which removes easily when needed. Sturdy "thick walled" magazine with clean molding lines and excellent mating seam-lines. Had no issues locking and removing magazine from shotgun.
Posted by EngineerEd on 6th Apr 2013
Light, rugged, well made. Bought 3 all fit on first try.
Posted by Dave on 3rd Apr 2013
These are excelent magazines. I only have the 10 round model so i can't speak on the others but these function well with no real problems. The only * is that to fit my Saiga they need to be filed down a bit with sand paper. Once that is done they fit and function flawlessly.

The mag is very nice and the company helped a lot in getting it to me when I switched addresses. The mag fits perfect and looks great. I thought it might be a little bulky but it wasn't.great product I will be ordering more.

I have a lot of old Gen 1 and 2 Mags for my Saiga-12. Just got an Saiga-12k with an magwell. Low and behold no one has mags for it and even if i could people want $120 for one. With little work I have modded 10 of my old AGP mags to fit my new Saiga-12k. All i had to do was remove the front locking lug and bolt bumps. Then cut a bit out of the back for the last round bolt hold open. All around go American, play at your tool bench and save your self $700. At $40 each you can afford to even mess one up.

Just got 3 in the mail today. Didnt fit. Called AGP and he said to punch it in..... and I did and then the rear clip caught the mag. Eject and repeat a few times and now it appears to be a good fit. I think it would be smart if AGP put a note in the shipments for future buyers that they may need to break them mags in and perhaps how because I almost returned them. Now they fit, now I like them. Have not yet cycled them but assume they should be fine.

I love the way the mags fit. they don't wiggle around or feel unsecured like pro mag and some others do. Also feed just fine! will buy more...

Bought 8 of these mags and I am impressed. Bought six 12 round from SGM tactical and they are a bit big for be. Im not a big guy. Haven't used these yet but I will this weekend.
Comparing the APG's to the SGM's so far I give the APG's a better ratting. I do like the steal lips to retain the shells and it is the most comfortable to handle, they fit my gun good and they are easy to load. Mine, as all Saga mags I know of, don't load on a closed bolt. Only thing worrying me is the 9 tinny screws holding both halves together. Seems like a potential week point for rust and corrosion and a potential impact breakage issue with hard use but I'm guessing APG is on their game and it is not an issue.

All the shells feed flawlessly with about 1/2 inch after the tenth shell. The spring had great tension and the shells followed great.Loaded 5 mags wiht Walmart cheap rounds and worked great with out any hickups Thanks

This product works great. I have a promag for my Saiga 12 and it is the worst product I've ever bought. For starters, the shells didn't fit. I had to sand the inside to make them fit. After that modification, only every other round extracted. Promag sucks!!! I'm sticking with AGP Arms from this point on:). Very satisified.

3rd gen 12 rd mags.fit great. all parts USA stamped. Dark earth color. Light but strong. buy while u can

I just received them yesterday so i haven't put them through their paces yet but they look great, fit precisely, hold ten rounds. I will be buying more, I do hope that they develop their own 10 round drum type magazines or maybe a staggered stack box mag or a top folding steel butt stock or a ...... sorry I had to walk the mad scientist back to his room. Anyway great product Thank You.
Posted by Dave K. on 15th Mar 2013
Everything worked perfectly, however as others mentioned did require a little filing to make it fit smoothly.
Posted by Robert B on 13th Mar 2013
I own 7 of these mags now and I love using them. They are easy to load on a closed bolt as they put in just a little room to make it happen. I havn't used anyother mags except the OEM that came with my S12 but I'm sure they can't be better then these.....

These mags fit an function in my Saiga 12 perfectly. No modifications required. The first batch I bought were Gen 2's and were slightly tight in the front of the mag,but wore in with several insertions. The second batch of mags I bought were Gen 3's were relieved just a slight bit on the front where the Gen 2's were tight.Even with the big rush to buy, these guys were still improving their product, and did not raise there price, although I got free shipping on the first batch of ten.I would trust them with my money to deliver.

These are by far the best Saiga 12 mags you'll find on the market. As soon as I got my order in I ran some rounds through it. Flawless. Simply flawless. I immediately ordered 3 more mags. The staff was absolutely excellent as well. Very polite, professional, & courteous. AGP has most definitely won my loyalty, as well as business. Thanks guys!!!

Best Saiga 12 mag by a long shot! As soon as I got my order I tried it out & immediately ordered 3 more. The staff was great to in helping me with my purchase. Couldn't ask for a better company to do business with. A+++

AGP 10 round mags are the way to go. Plan on buying more of them when I can (not in stock).

I received my order today for 10 Round magazines for my Saiga 12 Ga. I was blown away with the AGP mags! There was no shake in the mag once its inserted to the Saiga. The quality is top knotch. It truly fits the weapon well. I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait. If you own a Saiga, then you should definatly pick up acouple of these for your platform. Also, I had issues with my shiiping since I had moved during the backorder period. The customer service was second to none. They were great with helping me re-route my package to ensure that I received my order. I can honestly say that I had a great experience dealing with AGP and will be looking forward to doing more business with them in the near future.

With the overwhelming demand very apparent, they got my order filled in a very reasonable amount of time. The staff was very helpful and the quality was better than I expected. I would recommend this product to any looking for a great magazine. Live on second amendment, live on!!!!!!

I own or have tried AGP 10 rounders and 8 rounders, SGM 12, 10, and 8 rounders, and Pro Mag 10 rounders. By far the best performing of all these mags has been the AGP 10 rounders. They're the mags I'd grab if the SHTF>

I purchased 4 of these mags, had to open up the mag well 1/16" to get them to fit the shotgun (even oem mag was a tight fit). Went out and put 150 rounds through them no ftf. Unlike the other mags I own that tend to not feed the last round. Will only purchase from agp. These things rock!!!.

The magazine well on my Siaga 12 may be a little tight. The magazines fitted snugly in the front and when pulled back to lock, the latch would not quite catch. The short length of of "ribbing" on the sides of the magazine would not let the magazine enter the mag well. I just had to take a little off the short length of ribbing and everything worked fine. What do you expect with a Vodka gun.

The quality and reliability of the AGP Arms high capacity magazines for the Saiga 12 is exceptional. The magazines function without flaw, are of top notch manufacturing and are sold at a fair and reasonable price. I will continue to purchase from AGP Arms and recommend others do so as well.

Great mag! Excellent fit. Sturdy snd well built. Thanks guys!
Posted by undefined on 10th Jan 2013
I bought these AGP mags and they are a perfect fit. I also bought a different manufacturer's 20 round drum and have to file it to fit. There is a big difference in quality control and so far AGP's is best!

Very nice fit no modification. For all of you who has wondered the dark earth mags match poenix technologies handguards and but stocks match.

For me it's AGP or OEM mags. I've tried the rest and really just like the AGPs best.
Posted by undefined on 28th Nov 2012
I pre-ordered AGP mags before they hit the market I can tell you I love these mags and the are the only brand I use. I have tried a few others but they just well were not AGPs so for me it's AGP or OEM only.
Oh and I gave all my mags of other makers to my son, I need every advantage I can get!

Compared to other U.S. made S-12 mags, AGP Mag has two good features. 1) Spare parts availability 2) Compactness/they can be stored in shell-up position in chest rigs/pouches.

These mags are very well made and function flawlessly. They fit my gun without having to file any material off and they fit on a closed bolt too. Will be buying more of these soon.

I have almost 20 of these mags love them I also go by Topmaul on the Saiga 12 forum.

They are awesome, work flawlessly but difficult to load on a closed bolt unlike factory mags. Maybe after breaking in they will be, however. Worth noting they have metal on the back for locking into the gun.
