Bought the 1/2" as well as the 1" butt pad for my AGP folding stock for my Sig 556. Go with the 1" for proper extension and eye relief on your optics. Very satisfied with AGP's products. Highly recommended!

Fits perfectly, came with both screws, and gives my 10/22 a length of pull and buttstock length identical to my AK, which was the purpose. Thanks.

Gave the extra length needed to hold the rifle comfortably.

When I first bought my folding stock I laughed at the idea of needing a butt pad for a 10/22 but after mounting my scope I realized that the extra inch would be exactly what I needed to have a good sight picture. Also, when spending the day at the range with it, having the rubber instead of the plastic actually made it more comfortable.
Pros:
The Rubber is really high quality
It comes with mounting screws
The Pad is perfectly aligned with the pre drilled holes on the stock.
Economical
Cons:
You have to make sure that you have the pad up against the stock as tightly as possible or else the threads of the screws can lift it above the plate. Minor thing, just had unscrew it and start over on the first screw.
Overall:
I wish I would have picked one up months ago!

Had the folding stock for years. Wish I had ordered the 1/2 inch pad from the start. Fits great, installs in minutes.

folding stock is small and this is needed. stock is nice once this is on so buy one when you buy the stock or you will just be buying one later.fit and finish are nice

It works... Comes with screws. 1/2" is PLENTY big enough for a 10/22 stock.

I purchased the takedown 10/22 folding stock about two months ago and I ended up having to purchase the 1" butt pad as a second purchase roughly a week ago.
Save your money on shipping and buy this with your stock. It will save you time and inconvienence waiting to use your stock most effectivly.
it allows the proper eye releif on my scope, and now allows me to have the proper length of pull.
Seriously, buy this when you order your stock, it is well worth the cost.

This is a must have item for your APG 10/22 folding stock especially if your a larger type guy or gal. The 1" rubber butt pad increases length of pull and shooter comfort as well. It relieves that scrunched up feeling I got shooting the APG folding stock without it. It also adds to the looks of the stock and appears very well made.

added the 1" rubber butt-pad to my rifle, being 6'6" this extra LOP length makes all the difference. a great addition to any AGP build.

I added the 1" butt pad. It works properly and adds the right ballance to the rifle.

I'm certainly glad I got the butt pad with the folding stock.
With the 1" butt pad the length of pull is 12-1/2". It fit's me fine because I like to cuddle up tight to the trigger and optic when I shoot (and I'm only 5'8" tall). You tall, long armed folks might differ. But LOP is a non-issue when putting together a take-apart, fold-up rifle kit, no? The 1" butt pad does NOT add to the folded up length, so go for it!

The length of pull of wasn't enough to get a proper eye relief on my optic mounted to the 10/22. This fixed that problem. The 1 inch size worked great.

Helps make the stock just the little bit longer

I ordered this pad along with a couple of folding stocks for 10/22 projects. Right now it is on my SBR "pocket rifle" but I think I will try it on something else, since the whole idea of a pocket rifle is "short." It will probably end up on the AGP folder that I have on one of my rimfire ARs instead. Either way, it is a nice option for these stocks and a good product IMHO.

I got the 1 inch pad & glad I did. The AGP stock is VERY short without any pad, and even with the thicker one the length of pull is only 13 inches. It is still very compact and looks good, but you'll probably be happier with the thicker pad than none at all.
