New Ruger 10/22 Takedown® With AGP Stock Kit

Overall, this is a great option for someone looking for a custom 10/22. I've wanted a 10/22 for years, and this one gives me everything I was looking for. The ordering and delivery process between AGP Arms and my local FFL was completely painless. Pros: - It's a Ruger 10/22. It's hard to go wrong. - AGP Arms includes the original Ruger stock with this kit, which was completely unexpected but very appreciated. - The AGP Arms stock and foregrip are good and sturdy. - The overall fit & finish leaves nothing to complain about from a cosmetic or aesthetic standpoint. Cons: - The iron sights sit too low. To get your cheek down low enough for a proper sight picture, the butt pad only engages your shoulder with the bottom 1-2 inches. This is obviously a Ruger issue, not AGP Arms, but a raised sight kit might be a good option. - After a couple of hundred rounds through this thing with just the iron sights, I decided to get a scope. - The bag I received looks nothing like the picture. What little storage it does have inside for other items interferes with the storage space for the rifle itself, so it's not as useful as the design pictured. Again, I'm sure this is a Ruger problem, but something to be aware of. - The one thing I would change about the folding stock would be to have the front of the angled brace moved back a couple of inches to allow for easier use of the gun with the stock folded. As it is, the stock interferes with your access to the trigger when folded. Obviously, this is not the primary purpose of the design, but it would add a nice bit of functionality.

I am very happy with the folding stock that was installed on the 2 1022 rifles I bought.. Very well made. I also got the 1 inch butt pad and pistol grip rubber plug for both which holds a spare battery and a hex wrench. I received the shipment ahead of schedule and communication was great. Your products are first rate.

i'm very happy w/ my purchase. Solid stock kit that goes well w/ the 10/22 as an upgrade. Good staff to work with and speedy delivery. Will buy again.
