This kit include a new +20% extra power spring and a hardened steel locking plate. It holds an extra 3 rounds as requested by Brad S. on NABR. These are the only extensions for the XD45 and XDM45 and the new XD MOD.2 that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. The springs are very high quality and are custom made to fit exactly like OE in the XD45acp mag body. This is a +3 extension that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.
Magazine extension adds 22mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.

Went on in about 30 seconds and works great!
Shipped the same day I placed the order first of all. I definitely appreciated that. Once the package arrived, it took me all of 30 seconds to install the extension and most of that was spent unloading the magazine before I could do anything. It locks the slide back on an empty magazine and it looks AWESOME! I'm running 16 + 1 of .45 ACP in my XD now.
