This kit include a new +20% extra power spring and a hardened steel locking plate. It holds an extra 3 rounds as requested by Brad S. on NABR. These are the only extensions for the XD45 and XDM45 and the new XD MOD.2 that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. The springs are very high quality and are custom made to fit exactly like OE in the XD45acp mag body. This is a +3 extension that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.
Magazine extension adds 22mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.

Looks really nice, functions as it should, loading 3 extra rounds is ridiculously way over the top hard to get them all to fit. And it makes it super tough to seat into the pistol with the extension. Hopefully it gets easier as time goes on.

XD mod 2 extended clip
Bought 2 of these for my XD Mod2 .45/ 4 inch service pistol. Easy to install. I have put 300 rounds between the 2 mags and have had no irregularities. Slide locks open after final round.
