This kit include a new +20% extra power spring and a hardened steel locking plate. It holds an extra 3 rounds as requested by Brad S. on NABR. These are the only extensions for the XD45 and XDM45 and the new XD MOD.2 that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. The springs are very high quality and are custom made to fit exactly like OE in the XD45acp mag body. This is a +3 extension that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.
Magazine extension adds 22mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.

XDM .45 +3 mag extension
I recently bought seven of these extensions and love them, can’t wait until you come out with a 5 round extension. They are easy to install work great fits all 16 rounds well. There is one small thing\,the square corners at the bottom are a little bit sharp on the ribs when carrying IWB, had to use my Dremel and round them off a little bit. Now as to the CRY-BABY who says there is nothing to keep them on the mag and they will slide off when loaded and drop your rounds on the ground, YOU ARE AN IDIOT. If they are installed properly it is impossible for that to happen. Therefore you are a super IGNORANT MORON and have no business being within a mile of any type of gun!!!!!

XD45 Magazine extensions
Rated 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1st is that I have not had a chance to shoot the weapons with the extensions installed, hopefully they do not just fly off the magazines. Construction looks and feels solid enough, love the aesthetics of them on the weapon. The other reason is that shipping was deplorable, items showed up a week late with virtually no updates along the way!

Ordered 4, none work.
There is nothing that keeps the baseplate from sliding off the mag. They claim this is part of its function, but there’s just the base plate, the insert and the spring, and none of those components keep the baseplate from sliding. When the mag is full, the baseplate slides off very easily, like when you load a mag, and all the rounds fall on the floor. You’d have to duct tape it or something. Ps if y’all see this and wanna extend a refund or send new ones to see if these ones were just missing a small metal piece be my guest.

Looks nice, but..
Looks really nice, functions as it should, loading 3 extra rounds is ridiculously way over the top hard to get them all to fit. And it makes it super tough to seat into the pistol with the extension. Hopefully it gets easier as time goes on.
