Description

This kit include a new +20% extra power spring and a hardened steel locking plate. It holds an extra 3 rounds as requested by Brad S. on NABR. These are the only extensions for the XD45 and XDM45 and the new XD MOD.2 that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. The springs are very high quality and are custom made to fit exactly like OE in the XD45acp mag body. This is a +3 extension that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.

Magazine extension adds 22mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.

    The magazine extension kit does allow the additional rounds to be loaded in the magazine. The included spring does feed all of the rounds in the magazine reliably. I recommend this product.

    It was a little tricky to get the spring to drop down into the extension. Everything seems to work great. I'll be taking it to the range soon to test for real.

    Very nice upgrade for the price. Fit and finish is perfect. Installs in a breeze. Can't beat the price for +3 rounds.

    Yesterday I used this along with my 9 and normal 13 rnd mag. on my xdm 3.8". At first I had a couple failure to feeds, but after using the magazine a few times I had no issues and could not tell the feeding difference between my stock mags and the mag with this extension. I put about 100 rnds of federal 230 fmj through my xdm using all 3 mags and I will buy more extensions. So far this is a great product at a Great price and easy to install. Very happy with my purchase.

    I bought 2 of these to extend two of my 13 rounders for a MechTech XD45 Carbine. After 2 range trips I can report perfect function. I need to order 3 more for my remaining magazines.
