Description

This kit include a new +20% extra power spring and a hardened steel locking plate. It holds an extra 3 rounds as requested by Brad S. on NABR. These are the only extensions for the XD45 and XDM45 and the new XD MOD.2 that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. The springs are very high quality and are custom made to fit exactly like OE in the XD45acp mag body. This is a +3 extension that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.

Magazine extension adds 22mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.

    These work better than expected. Firm fit and won't slide off. I was able to fit 16 rounds (but only carry 15 as I don't want to stress the spring). Very happy and will probably buy more.

    Plastic and steel parts both have good fit and finish. My hands are not huge but large enough to appreciate the additional grip area.

    Nice Product at a Fair Price

    I purchased this for use with my XD Tactical .45 acp and it works great. Installation was straight forward and took just a few minutes. Loading the 16th round requires more effort than the first 15, but it does hold 16 rounds. At the range, I will probably load only 15 rounds just because it's easier. It is a nice product at a fair price, and I couldn't be happier.

    IT sure is great having those 3 extra rounds I found out it helps to have the slide locked open when inserting the mag

    i love this product, i work at a shooting range and you advertise what you carry so i was very happy to add something to my gun that would make it stand out. plus having 16 rounds is nice too

    Put hundreds of rounds through them this weekend with no failures. Only issue is with the mag fully loaded it can be hard to seat the magazine with the slide forward...probably due to the extra pressure from the spring

    In less time than it takes to disassemble the mag for cleaning, you can extend it to hold 3 more rounds. Fit and finish are as good or better than Springfield's. One thing to pay attention to though, make sure the little tab on the steel lock plate fits inside the mag, but outside of the spring. If the tab is inside the spring, everything will still fit together properly, but you won't get the extra capacity. Worth the money!

    I ordered 3 of the 3 round extensions for my Springfield Armory XD in .45 ACP. Installation was easy. I have only tested one of the mags so far. I put 200 rounds of FMJ practice ammo through the mag with out any problems. The mag is 100% reliable so far. Pleased with my purchase.
