This kit include a new +20% extra power spring and a hardened steel locking plate. It holds an extra 3 rounds as requested by Brad S. on NABR. These are the only extensions for the XD45 and XDM45 and the new XD MOD.2 that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. The springs are very high quality and are custom made to fit exactly like OE in the XD45acp mag body. This is a +3 extension that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.
Magazine extension adds 22mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.

Everyone who has an XD\XDM 45 shoud have these!
Very easy to install and works very well. I these in pistol matches and they have performed very well with out any issues.

was in doubt about it at first but i was sold
when i first bought them i was not exactly impress. but looks aren't everything put them together no tools require. loaded it up and it head the rounds in place with no shaking of them. put it through its paces and did like it was advertised. I learn that day that looks aren't everything, all it has to do is get the job done.

I now have 4 of the +3's. You don't need installation instructions they are that easy to install. Works flawless. Ordered on a Tuesday morning, recieved the Shipped email later that day, had'em by Friday! When are you coming out with a higher capacity, lets say a +5 or 6?

Super Product, Super Easy to Install
Picked up 5 of them for all my 13 round XD mags. They all went on easily with no tools or experience taking the mags apart. They shoot as good or better than the OEM's.

Ordered a couple and tried them on both the 10 and 13 round mags. Took them to the range and they worked great. Ordered more the next day for all my mags.

I found the installation straightforward. It was a little tricky to compress the springs and get things in place, but that's to be expected, IMO. Once assembled, the extended magazines performed flawlessly. I'd like to see them make the same extension for the XDS!

this item is great it takes a little more pressure than I thought it would to get the last round in. but other than that it fits great and is easy to install
