Description

This kit includes a new 20% extra power spring and are the only extensions for the XD9 and XD40 (also fits new XD Mod.2) that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. This is a +4 extension for the 9 and +3 for the 40 that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.

Extension adds 23.5mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.  

NOTE: These will not fit California models.

    Springfield XD +4 mag extension

    I installed the extension on a factory 16rd mag and fired 20 rds of 9mm 115 grain FMJ without any jams. My only complaint is that after firing 20 rds with no problems, the slide did NOT lock back. While the empty mag was still inserted, I pulled the slide back and then it locked back. I loaded 2 more rounds into the mag and tried again with the same result. When I dissasembled the mag to check that I'd installed it correctly (which I did), I bent the spring. I ordered a replacement spring and will try again. Pretty simple install. A flat head screwdriver is really helpful in sliding the supplied metal clip in place during assembly.

    Looked high and over then found AGP. They put the cool factor back into a GRIP ZONE. DEFINITLEY GRAB SOME 21+1= FUN

    Clip extension

    Had to sand it down the top where the extension plastic meets the clip, needs to be made a little short i had to really slam it in the mag well inorder for the mag catch to catch the magazine, but the extension is for a xd i have a xdM so maybe the elite clip is a little wider then the regular cd clips but i made it fit it feeds find the spring works flawlessly i love it!

    I have been trying out a few other companies for mag extensions. AGP has been my favorite so far. I will be ordering more for all my XD9 16rd mags, which will all be 20rd mags now! Awesome fit and finish as well.

    The magazine extension and spring work great. You will need a punch to install.. and perhaps a flat screw driver.. Have used them in USPSA matches and they hold up very well..A must have if you compete with an XD...
