This kit includes a new 20% extra power spring and are the only extensions for the XD9 and XD40 (also fits new XD Mod.2) that have locking plates to keep them from popping off your mags. This is a +4 extension for the 9 and +3 for the 40 that does not prevent the slide from locking open after the last round has been fired.
Extension adds 23.5mm to the bottom of the factory magazine.
NOTE: Fits Mod.3 frames with a tiny bit of clearancing the inner magwell area.
NOTE: These will not fit California models.
NOTE: These will not fit XDM models

XD9
I have been trying out a few other companies for mag extensions. AGP has been my favorite so far. I will be ordering more for all my XD9 16rd mags, which will all be 20rd mags now! Awesome fit and finish as well.

XD +4 magazine extension.
The magazine extension and spring work great. You will need a punch to install.. and perhaps a flat screw driver.. Have used them in USPSA matches and they hold up very well..A must have if you compete with an XD...

XD40 magazine extension
Ended up only being a three round extension instead of the advertised 4 additional rounds. Definitely doesn’t look like it was designed to match the XD40 grip but instead is a weird smooth extension that is smaller in diameter than the grip. Fortunately, no issues feeding even with a full mag dump.

This is on all my mags
I had a few of these extensions and I like them so much that I got more for the rest of my XD mags. They look like the gun was designed to have them on it. Getting 20 rounds in tends to require the help of a good speed loader but it can be done and feeds the first round normally. When assembling or disassembling it, beware that the extra power spring can cause extra power flying parts!

Only +2
I only got +2 from my 16 round mag, and with the extension the mag release is far more difficult to depress on either side. Not happy that it's not +4, but I can beef up my thumb squeeze and I'll take the +2

XD mag extender
Easy installation. Full mag rattles a little bit not a deal breaker. Haven't had a chance to shoot yet—I've manually racked through a couple of full mags without a problem.
